Altenmarkt is surrounded by lakes, here you can swim in the summer. We recommend Zauchensee and Erlebnisbadesee. Here are facilities available and you can so a whole afternoon.

With cross-country trails throughout Altenmarkt and a slope that even starts in the backyard of our chalet, Altenmarkt is the place for cross-country skiing. Unique and gigantic, it is the largest Ice Cave in the world. A wonderful experience for the whole family. Please note that there are many steps to climb, and some fitness is an advantage.

A great outing for the whole family. The salt cave is located next to the even more beautiful town of Hallstatt, a picturesque town where time seems to stand still and the most beautiful photos are possible. Discovered 7,000 years ago and now with slides and all to experience, in short for the whole family.

With an age of 900 years, the Hohenwerfen castle is quite a nice outing. There are several tours outside and inside in addition to a spectacular bird show.
