We rented the chalet for several families. Price / performance is extremely good. The accommodation has 2 large communal … More kitchens with extremely good equipment (dishwasher, oven, stove, dishes, bacon, etc.). Note: We were about 20 people and could easily cook in a kitchen. In addition, there was also a laundry room with 2 dryers and 2 washing machines. We found all the rooms to be very clean and very well maintained. The hosts are extremely friendly and nice. We were even allowed to stay one night longer, free of charge (!).
So I can highly recommend the accommodation for larger groups as well as for just one family!

Altenmarkt is surrounded by lakes, here you can enjoy swimming in summer. Highly recommended by us is Zauchensee and Erlebnisbadesee. There are facilities here and you can soak up a whole afternoon.

20-minute drive

After just a few steps you are already gliding. Together with an experienced pilot, you fly through the beautiful mountains of Austria. If you dare, this is an experience you don't want to miss.

For some, the most beautiful sport there is. Less than 5 minutes away there is a large riding school. Here you can get lessons together with experienced instructors but also discover Altenmarkt in a unique way.

With cross-country trails throughout Altenmarkt and a slope that even starts in the backyard of our chalet, Altenmarkt is the place for cross-country skiing.
